Virtual Wallet is a registered trademark of The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. This is why it is highly recommended to reply to them. Virtual Wallet is an excellent idea and solid implementation. I could go on and on about it’s usefulness in tracking, organizing, and paying for expenses (bill pay is great!! I have two minor issues ...1) the money bar feature is occasionally inaccurate, leading me to believe I have more money free to use than I do (thinking I had less would be the “better” error for not over-drawing). It happens for one day only sometimes when a “scheduled out” comes due but doesn’t yet show as “pending.” The “available” and “free” calculations suddenly inflate for a day (while the expected payout seems to be in no-mans land), before returning to an appropriate amount the following day. , 24 hour over draft protection if you overdraft from spending (checking account) it will automatically take from your savings to stop you from getting a penalty which cost 7-15$ for your own good because it’s not a credit card! 2) the budgeting part of the web app doesn’t let me customize the date range for a month ... , with the virtual wallet account you get a checking , Savings , and a reserve account you can only pull money out of your reserve so many times or you’ll get penalized which they’ll just take it away from you and I belive charge you 7-15$ but it’s for your own self control to not spend out of that account you get like 5 transfers from that account a month I believe it’s a great way to save money. a problem for me since I get paid on the 30th of every month and spend that money the next month. you can transfer money from checking to savings all you want. It would be much more natural to plan the month’s expenses with the income from that day before the month started (as opposed to being “in the red” every month until the last day since it examines income to expenses). You can send money to friends with zelle, there are Pnc atms at every speed way to with drawl from only for no charge 20$ ,40$ 100$ ect, this is the best bank and app no doubt about it ive had 33 cents in my account for 2 months and it’s okay that want you as a customer! And the bankers are very helpful they took off a 22$ fee I had received from a misunderstanding so there verry friendly! 100% only bank I’ll ever use for the rest of my life, best part about it is you can manage all of your money from your phone and even deposit checks by takeing a picture, (takes up to 1 day) and don’t void the check untill it’s forsure deposited. I recommend this bank to every one :) I really love using the features of PNC’s virtual wallet. My issues are this and I hope the developers will listen to this and make some improvements. I totally understand the need for security and auto logging a person out after inactivity, but you need to consider that a person may need time to scroll through their activity and budget their bills etc. I can barely work with my spreadsheet without being auto logged out before I’ve had a chance to look at anything. How about a feature in settings where someone like me could hit a button that says “keep me logged in until I sign out” that would be my choice and security would be my responsibility. I’m sitting at home doing my bills and don’t want to be logged out every two seconds as if I were at Starbucks. Secondly, in order to go into the reserve section of account to see how you’ve allotted monies saved for certain items you have to go online through a browser, the app will only show you how much money is in reserve, but you cannot access what is for what or rearrange the funds. As it is now , the app is limited and causes me to have to login the website anyway to fully see what I have allotted and repurpose funds. If I have to go to website for that why am I using the app ? I would have given this app more stars if I was still using my i Phone 7 (my main complaint then was that I’d more often than not, get a message saying that the web ice wasn’t available and to try again later. My main issue now with the XS Max is that the facial recognition function will not work. It starts out like it’s going to do facial recognition. I even get a check mark like it worked but then a pop up appears saying that there’s an error and that the service is unavailable - please try again later. So then I sign in using my password and every time I do that I have to answer a security question because the app isn’t recognizing my device. This doesn’t just happen after app updates - it happens every time I log in. Even though I’ve check marked “remember this device”. And then when I get into the app it asks if I want to sign in using Face ID. So I press “Use Face ID” and on the next screen I check the box to use Face ID and try to press “accept” at the bottom of the screen - however that button doesn’t work. Doesn’t matter how many times I press it or how long I press it. To the developers - Please fix this - I don’t have the option of using the thumbprint anymore and this makes signing in so much more cumbersome. I have been a PNC Bank customer for four years and it is the worst! It really is not for small customers because if you're not making the kind of money where you can pay all your bills and still keep hundreds of dollars in the account then you'll never be able to cash a check. PNC Virtual Wallet has 0 user reviews. PNC Virtual Wallet has an average rating of 0.0. I don't care what kind it is or who it is from. The latest version of PNC Virtual Wallet 6.16.0 was released on Jul 05, 2019. I had to cash a state treasury check at another bank before because PNC wouldn't let me because I didn't have enough money in my account to cover the check. They told me to download it to deposit the checks so that I could have the money available immediately to me. It doesn't matter how big or small the check is, you will have to go somewhere else to cash the check which is redundant, especially when some people only get bank accounts so they can cash checks without issue and or for free. After I finally got through the whole process without it crashing, I still couldn't get any cash and all I wanted was a little pocket change for the weekend. Plus, if it did do it, it was gonna charge me two dollars. Mother's Day weekend and thanks to my sorry bank I can't even make sure I have money in my pocket for it. For a dollar more, I could have just took the checks somewhere else and got them cashed.
